May I ask why so many posts recommend choosing a uni two hours from home? Surely it is the norm for them to stay at uni all term and not come home (but parents visit them if they want/need). Our YP is autistic and ppl have said to him be in a 2 hour radius. He can’t see why and nor can we. It surely can’t be about the parents’ convenience of start and end of term drop-offs/collections? I just don’t get it.
