Hello, following on from a previous post on Facebook, where some students are lonely and havent found good friends - even after a long time- although this is a long shot and likely wont work out - I thought I would try and see if we can arrange some meet ups. I dont have friends with children the same age as my children, and I dont have any family to meet with. I wondered if anyone is interested in meeting up with parent/s and our teens/young adults? It would be a good way for them to get to know each other in a casual way. Maybe we can meet for some garden bar b ques or over a park or for a day at a theme park, or a pub garden. Open to any ideas. Obviously the distance we are all in will be tricky and would mean multiple groups around the country. If anyone is interested - please message below and with your area. I could attempt to set up a group chat/s to see if we can make some arrangements. I live in Surrey. There is also a facebook page called Surrey and sussex social activities - we could use that to make an event - or create a facebook page.
