Can anyone advise on how the accommodation places work at LSE? Thanks so much

We went to an offer holder day on Wednesday and were told it's like a hotel booking system. First come first served and you know what you've been allocated after 24hrs. Yet to receive the login, so not actually applied yet.
It is on a first come first served basis. You choose the HOR from the ones that’s left, book a place and then that’s your hall!
