Waitlist - any ideas?

So finally been able to firm Plymouth as first choice after having to wait until yesterday for final offer! My daughter has been on accommodation portal and none of her Uni choices are available, but she has joined a wait list…
Not much info about the wait list so was wondering if anyone on here has an idea of how it works? She has emailed accommodation to ask but thought I’d see if anyone has had dealings with this previously?
We know there are plenty of private halls too, so any info on them would be much appreciated.

Afraid I can't help about wait lists but it was helpful doing a search on the Facebook WIWIKAU page and looking back at older posts and replies about both Uni and private halls so got a good idea of what else was on offer. Good luck.

Was offered a place in Mary Newman this week, one very happy girl … now just 10 days of exams left and the lonnnng wait until August 18!!

Hi. My Son has chosen Beckley Point Private Accommodation which is accross the road from campus. Lots of social rooms, 24hr reception for peace of mind, cinema room and an amazing view over Plymouth. Plus slightly cheaper than Uni Halls. Definitely worth a look.

She was offerered a room in Mary Newman 2 weeks ago, so is very happy now. Beckley point was on our radar, we stayed in the hotel opposite last year when we went to the open day.
