Strathclyde accommodation 2022 starts

Ah this is private accommodation but thx. We’re waiting to hear about uni halls
How does this work, surely they need to wait for results day? Also students from England won’t know if they have confirmed offers until 18th August!
My DS has an unconditional offer so has already accepted his place - and is therefore able to confirm accommodation. And actually he got his accommodation offer yesterday !!
Hi @AliT congrats to your daughter. All of Strathclyde’s own accommodation is on the same campus so all really close. I know there are different price points (en suite , shared bathroom etc) but as far as I have heard all are ok. My DS is in James Goold Hall but we’ve not received any details about it yet. They do seem to be slow !! Hope she gets something sorted soon as I think finding private let’s in Glasgow can be tricky. Let us know how she gets on x

We are in the same position - my son hasn’t had an offer yet. We live in Northern Ireland and he knows literally no one else heading to Glasgow. Hopefully we will hear soon
@stephaniekirkni my DS has his accommodation offer a few weeks ago now. I’d give them a call and ask about it … just so you know !

Thanks @Susie B I’ve eventually got through and they said they’re working through all the students who received results yesterday- they’ll be sending accommodation offers out in batches between today and next Friday. Told us not to panic!
There’s 1 photo I can see on line which looks like a double ? But couldn’t say for sure …. I’ve gone for a double for James Goold hall but will wait till we’re there before opening it!! Hope this helps. I’m sure if you call the accommodation line they’ll be able to confirm for sure though.

Hi all thought I’d post a wee update - DS moved into James Goold hall today . Lovely room although small but a place for everything ! En suite nice and new (refurb last year), kitchen & lounge good size. Small double bed. Not many others there yet but expect it’ll get busier over the weekend. Good luck to everyone moving soon.
