Darley Bank accommodation

My daughter is starting at the Uni of Derby in September and will be living at Darley Bank. She has been allocated a medium en-suite room but was just wondering if there is under bed storage?

My son was in Darley Bank last year & he had under bed storage.

Aah thank you. If I get a shallow plastic IKEA under bed storage box will that fit?

Apparently they are over a foot deep - but he is a 19 year-old lad, so wouldn't take his word for it. I do remember them being quite deep though, so the shallow ones should definitely fit.

There is under bed storage but is very hard to get to especially if you are a petite girl!! You have to lift up and hold the mattress and then lift up a piece of chipboard to get to the under bed storage!!!
Mattress toppers are not provided, bring your own.
The rooms are VERY hot!!
Not sure about air fryers being allowed but kettles and toasters are provided.
The big kitchens are social areas are great.
The beds are small doubles and the hob is standard electric.
