Hi my daughter has NTU as her insurance choice. With regards to accommodation, she hasn’t booked anything with it being her insurance choice. Is she able to book halls if she has NTU as her insurance? If not what would normally happen on/after results day if she does end up attending NTU with regards to accommodation please?

Hi @Elena1302

We guarantee accommodation for first-year undergraduate students who firmly accept a place at the university and request their room by Saturday 31 August 2024. Our booking system is currently open to students who have made NTU their firm choice. If we become a student's firm choice after receiving their results, they can apply for accommodation once their place is confirmed.

So, if your daughter finds out she'll be joining us on results day, all she'll have to do is visit our accommodation page once her place is confirmed to view the available accommodation at that time and make her booking.

My daughter has almost decided on coming to NTU. When would she be expected to move into the accommodation?

Hello! My daughter has firmed NTU but is having a wobble. If she books accomodation now, do we have to put down a deposit, and will she lose that if she cancels before the term starts?

We have medical centres for students on our City and Clifton campuses, and very close to our Brackenhurst campus in Southwell. Students usually register with a student health centre or local medical practice when they arrive at NTU in September. They can register in person or online. You can find all the relevant contact links and online registration forms here.

Hi,

Moving-in days are usually during NTU Welcome, a week before term one officially starts. NTU Welcome starts Friday 13 September 2024. Once your daughter has booked her accommodation, our accommodation team will be in touch closer to the time with information on arrival and arranging her moving-in day.

My son is starting NTU in September (grades in hand). He needs to bring his bike with him to get to training. I see some of the accommodation has bike storage - do you know if this will be a covered, secure, locked area, or do I need to contact each halls individually to ask this question? Thank you

Hi @Sunny

We've got a range of cycle storage and services across our campuses available for both staff and students to use which you can find out more about here. Regarding accommodation, as they are offered through different providers (NTU, UPP and Private), I'd recommend contacting the ones you're interested in to confirm the type of bike storage they have on-site.

We accept a range of qualifications, including:

• A Levels
• BTECs
• T Levels
• Extended Project
• Access to Higher Education Diploma
• Advanced Apprenticeship
• International Baccalaureate Diploma

We accept a combination of four qualifications to make up the total tariff points e.g. three A Levels alongside an Extended Project. What qualification is the dance exam? If it's not one of the above, I'd recommend contacting our admissions team on +44 (0)115 848 4200 to verify if it is eligible.
