Looks like I'm the first to post here - Just wondering in any one knows exactly what students in the Millstone flats (Endcliffe) get in terms of a cupboard/drawer and fridge/freezer space in the kitchens. My son will be in a 6 person flat.

Hi, my daughter is also moving into a flat in Millstone and wondered this too along with if it's a single bed or not so can sort bedding! 😊

Hi...My son is moving into Windgather and I think there's 9 or 10 rooms in his flat! Would also love to know how much cupboard space they'll have but I guess any surplus can always live in his room. I had a box of food/equipment in my room in halls although that was mainly as my flatmates were horrors! Does anyone know if there's any restrictions on appliances in rooms?
Bedding wise I've read it's best to get double as they're most likely going to have double beds year 2 onwards.

My son is moving into Windgather too… 6 in his flat… I have bought a double duvet and cover and then single bottom sheet, mattress protector and topper. Kitchen wise non idea on space. There is a parents and guardians Facebook page that might have answers too.

I found a video that showed they are single beds so we're going with that - although I know some people suggest a double duvet from the get go as usually they end up with a double bed in years 2&3. We have an existing mattress protector and we're not going with a mattress topper.

Generally (not specific to Sheffield) people seem to have a cupboard in the kitchen plus a drawer and a shelf each in the fridge and freezer. On the advice of my nieces I've bought a shelf insert/organiser to increase space.

From the inventory on the website if helpful - single unless they’ve got deluxe or studio

What does your insert look like? Thanks 🙏
